As a Lead Machinery Supervisor and Deputy Site Manager, I am in charge of machinery supervision department, with still hands on in the Machinery Supervisor position, and acting as second in command in the site office. Generally, I have to take care of:

• I was authorized person, designated by the site manager, to lead the sea trials team and to organize and manage the inspections of the assigned team. I had to ensure that the tests results meet the technical specification requirements and to report them;
• I was working closely with shipyard production and quality control staff to ensure efficient handover of systems and equipment to crew in view of delivery preparations. Also, to review class delivery certificates.

As a Machinery Supervisor, the key task was to supervise the construction of all machinery related equipments and systems ensuring that the requirements of newbuilding specification, rules and approved drawings are met.
Among inspections at shipyard, subsuppliers and equipment makers, I had to oversee:
