Systems Computer Specialist

• Primary responsibilities include the programming, testing and validation of custom attributes and business logic criteria using proprietary programming tools and other open source software
• Additional responsibilities include design, estimate and build custom analytic and batch solutions, meeting with customers to gather and understand requirements, build analytic data set specifications, manage multiple large data sets, define populations and variables, perform analysis, present analysis findings, administration and maintenance of analytical environment, mentoring and support.
• Researching, maintain required documents, troubleshooting, debugging programs and adherence to Quality Process. Data validation checks and listings to identify data discrepancies.
• Able to organize workflow and manage time effectively. Ensure tasks are completed accurately, on time and within budget.
• Communicate effectively with peers, Project Leads and Management.

• Scheduling and Running daily and month end jobs as needed
• Serve as Operations contact point for a specific set of customers
• Coordinate activities of a small team within the department
• Performing accurate, efficient, and timely processing of operations tasks (uploads, reports, queries, customer support, execute jobs) as required.
• Perform any required control procedure as part of the sustaining process.
• Support, prioritize and coordinate any project/Controls needed to mitigate identified risk, roadblocks or issues impacting the Month End Close.
• Identify improvement opportunities, process risks, gaps or any help needed and communicate with business analyst & direct manager in a timely manner.

• Design and build relational databases using SAS ABM & SAS Enterprise Guide software based on a dimensional model hierarchy
• Proactively manage & reconcile inconsistencies in source data tables, metadata layers and other data sources
• Actively perform quality assurance checks and validation of model inputs and outputs
• Troubleshoot model load and calculation issues as needed
• Work with IT resources to integrate model data into product / business dashboards and corporate reporting systems
• Maintain detailed model documentation, dictionary and archives
• Manage development and maintenance of multiple models simultaneously
