*Assist and perform scheduled maintenance as per set standards (includes manufacturer’s recommendation, ISO certification requirements, safety standards, and all Legal & regulatory requirements) of the various equipment and plants to ensure reliable/optimum utilisation of the same.
*Fix or replace components of equipment according to the need of operation and provide feedback to management on the results of changes.
*Assist and perform daily inspection of all equipment/vehicles and plant for operational reliability & safety, to help plan for corrective maintenance and to prevent accidents in the operational area.
*Assist in implementing new ideas to improve the operation efficiency.
*Provide new ideas/ suggest tool etc to minimise breakdown time in a cost effective way.
*Assist and perform diagnoses and repairing faults/defects effectively on equipment/vehicles and plant under breakdown ensuring that down time is minimised.
*Perform/assist subcontractors and senior staff in calibrations of equipment as per the standard.
*Ensure that all work-related activities carried out during the shift are recorded in the log book/work order to help planning staff log the details of work done in the Maintenance Management System.
*Inform supervisor of any spare parts & tools that are needed to ensure timely completion of all maintenance works.
