The M.Sc research started with the analysis of phytochemicals in fresh and processed Food using analytical techniques based on spectroscopy, chromatography, and mass spectrometry and finally concluded on the following research title.
'Extraction of lycopene: stability in organic solvents and liquid chromatographic analysis.'

o Teaching chemistry to post-graduate, graduate, and undergraduate (chemistry/engineering) classes.
o Polymer synthesis and analysis.
o Membrane development (electrodialysis, organic-solvent nanofiltration and drug-delivery)
o Hydrogels and superabsorbent polymers (cosmetics and agriculture)

o Facilitated a start-up company in technology transfer and building infrastructure and labs for the fabrication of polymeric hollow-fiber membranes for water-purification and waste-water treatment.
o Completed one-month training on the component and working of the hollow fiber (HF) spinning system.
o Built and led the R&D facility for the fabrication of the hollow fiber membrane.
o Worked with renowned membranes experts to upgrade the spinning machine and improve the performance of HF membranes.

o Teaching to M.Phil Applied Chemistry and undergraduate engineering classes.
o Polymer synthesis and analysis.

One day short course on the comprehensive review of the mass spectrometric techniques used for the analysis of polymers including, inter alia, MALDI–TOF–MS, Ion-mobility spectrometry–MS, Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance–MS and their hyphenation with GC, HPLC, and SEC/GPC.
