Specialist - Insurance and Finance

Head of Finance and Insurance in one of the main Italian construction general contractors founded in 1910 and now operating in thirteen Countries.

Main responsibilities:
Overall supervision of the financial and insurance activities of the branches and of the subsidiaries of the Group.
In particular:
○ Management of corporate and project finance activities;
○ Management of relationships with credit institutions;
○ Management of the project financing operations, including export credit operations insured with Italian and international ECAs;
○ Financing of public works projects on the basis of the general contractor model;
○ Management of the medium and long term company debt and leasing operations;
○ Management of the relationship with insurance brokers and insurance companies.

CFO in a company specialized in the energy production. In particular, the company was the developer and the co-owner of two Italian regasification plants and the developer of one of the biggest photovoltaic plant in Italy.

Main responsibilities:
○ Management of relationships with credit institutions;
○ Management of corporate and project finance activities;
○ Supervision of legal department.

Directly managed:
○ Development and financing, through a pool of leasing companies, of a 24,192 MWp photovoltaic plant. The total EPC contract was worth nearly € 120 million and the leasing contract was worth nearly € 98 million.
○ Member of the board of directors of the three Special Purpose Vehicles constituted in South Africa for the development of two photovoltaic projects of 25 MWp and 50 MWp. Responsible for organizing the senior debt and the required BEE (Black Economical Empowerment) and BBBEE (Broad Based Black Economical Empowerment) equity.

Head of Structured Finance in one of the main Italian construction general contractors, founded in 1880.

Main responsibilities:
○ Project financing operations, including export credit operations insured with the Italian ECA;
○ Financing of public works projects on the basis of the general contractor model;
○ Management of the medium and long term company debt and leasing operations.

Main projects involved in:
○ Construction of the 5th and 6th maxi-lot of an Italian motorway:
▪ Participated in the structuring of debt operations;
▪ Assisted legal department in writing financial contracts;
▪ Appointed to Board of Directors of the two Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV) incorporated for carrying out the works.

Head Financial Analyst
● Responsible for the financial evaluations of the real estate investments.

Financial analyst in a company acting on behalf of the Italian Ministry of Economy for the management of the European funds dedicated to the development of the small and medium enterprises.

Main responsibilities:
○ Evaluation of investment programs presented for the acquisition of subsidized loans;
○ Guest lecturer in over 20 seminars on the regulations of Law n. 488/92 as pertains to the
financial subsidy for the development of small and medium business enterprises.
