Mentor:
• Developing the simulation model to identify the failure points within the actuator both mechanically and electrically when exposed to high temperatures
• Verification of the simulations by the experimentation set up using frictional loads, high temperature inputs and operating at different duty cycles(focus on gears, PCB and Brushless DC motor) and determining the uncertainties specifically in DAS (Data acquisition systems)
• Specific studies made on the DAS used in validating the simulation model to find the “bias”and “random” uncertainties.
