Trained and managed a team of six to ensure the operations and deals were successfully completed, accurately checked and logged. The dealing team had approximately 98% best execution rate.
Mentored four junior Analysts who successfully became senior Analysts.
Built good rapport and relationships with all clients and third-parties; became the main point of contact for two of the team’s largest clients.
As Secretary of the Global Products & Managers Investment Committee, was regularly praised for the concise but detailed minutes produced of every meeting, which included highlighting all action points raised and ensuring they were completed before the next meeting.

Analysed and researched public market funds to ensure they remained suitable for clients through regular fund manager meetings and producing detailed research notes using analysis from Morningstar Direct and Bloomberg.
Proposed new funds and research to the Investment Committee. One successful fund proposal was added to the fund investment list and eventually became a core holding across most client portfolios.
Produced reports, recommendations and analysis for clients to ensure investments remained, or would be, aligned with their objectives.
Became the first analyst in the team to take over the main dealing responsibilities: conducting trades on behalf of clients, and ensuring deals were carried out efficiently and successfully, alongside the usual Analyst tasks.
Appointed team mentor, responsible for integrating new analysts into both the team and dealing process.

Oversaw the duties carried out by the Data Administrator and assisted with all data-related queries.
Trained all newcomers to the company on the Performance product.
Mentored new joiners in the Performance team.
Managed and responded to all performance-related queries from across the company.

Maintained the accuracy of data on the online performance product, and used Excel to produce performance analysis. In 2011, was awarded top prize in an office competition for writing the most read online blog regarding Private Equity Real Estate Fund performance.
Produced benchmarks, quartile rankings of funds, and the risk and median returns for various private equity strategies. Undertook an independent project which enabled the company to launch a new Asian benchmark to be added and enhance the online user service.
Helped the team increase the amount of cashflow fund data collected by at least 11%. This data was also used to help create the very first quarterly private equity index for the industry – PrEQIn.

Maintained and updated investor profiles on the LP product through daily telephone and email contact.
In 2009, was awarded top prize in an office competition for registering the most people to the new and free online products and services offered.
Regularly participated in institutional investor surveys for upcoming research reports, publications and material for conferences. Was chosen to research family offices and wealth managers and their investments into alternative assets. This research later added an extra new function in the LP online product, illustrating the investor appetite of family offices and wealth managers.
