As a freelance journalist, I covered Ukraine crisis (2014) reporting from Kiev (or Kyiv) and Crimea. In 2015, I spent two months in Jordan as a volunteer at UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) and reporting as a photojournalist from Syrian and Palestine camps, such Za'atari refugee camp. Between May and June 2016, I reported from Southeastern Turkey writing on the impact of Turkey-PKK on civilians as well as reporting from inside the Idomeni refugee camp (Greece), where I witnessed the final days of the camp and interviewed soon-to-be evicted residents.
