1. Install and management of data backup and restore services for mission critical applications and ensuring that most recent
backup is in place. Using dell power vault tape backup library to perform weekly full backup of recorded lectures.
2. Installation, Configuration and managing switches enable and disable ports, add mac address to the ports and assign VLAN.
3. Configure and manage Wireless users accounts and allowed time.
4. Configure firewall access-list and user accounts.
5. Configure and manager VPN services users profile and assignment of required VLANs.
6. Monitor and maintain network system alerts and escalate problem to the Network specialist.
7. Configure and manage lecture recording server including NLBP and IIS media services.
8. Interact with staff to oversee the requirement of any equipment, hardware and software especially in lecture halls.
9. Support and maintain user accounts through Active Directory including rights, permissions, groups, and policies.
10. Install and configure operating system of computers, diagnose hardware and software faults including application problems.
11. Installation, configuration and management of projectors, podiums (e-Station) Audio visual equipment’s and motion tracking
systems.
12. Install, configure and manage network printers and multifunction machines including user accounts and remote folder
services.
13. Higher level helpdesk support for employees requiring hardware, software, network assistance.
14. Maintain, troubleshoot and support client computers, tablets, smart phones, servers, network equipment and software.
