Technische/r Direktor/in

Global company leader for development and production of solutions for engine and vehicle weight reductions, based on plastic and carbon fiber materials.
Total employees >1100, HQ at Italy and plants in UK, Czech Rep.,USA, Brazil, India, China and Japan.
Reporting on CEO, I have the responsibility of Technical area.
Most relevant activities are referring on Material development, Design, Project Management, Process analysis; team based on 60 people distributed on all companies.

Reporting directly on Product Director (on behalf of CEO).
Managing all development activities for Automotive, Industrial and Marine products, Advanced Research, budget (10Mio € per Year), capex (3.5 Mio € per Year) and human resources (130 pp, more than 40% graduate).
The most significant project have been: 3.0L engine for EU and NAFTA market, new industrial gamma (3-4-6 cylinder) and engineering projects for important off highway company (2.2L-3.0L-4.0L).

Managing all engineering activities about M&I division, reporting to Engine Design Director(on behalf of Product Director).
Main tasks: design, budget; timing plan; project targets and human resources (40 people), new projects definition, coordinating customer requests, supplier and all dep’t involved in product development.
Main projects: new families for European market (2.2L-3.0L-4.2L), engineering projects for Eu/USA market, new gamma of Marine engine.
Additional task: delocalization of 4 cylinder engine in India (suppliers, assembly line).
Additional responsibility of Advanced Design area for FEM/CFD analysis and combustion simulation.
