Writing copy, communicating with authors, data entry, project management, scheduling meetings between superiors and international colleagues, overseeing the editorial timeline, writing and sending contracts, organizing book files.

I assisted in English language classrooms in a Gesamtschule. Before the school year began, I completed a training with the Pädagogischer Austauschdienst. Once teaching started, I gained experience working with students both in small groups and large classrooms. I gave presentations on aspects of American culture, lead small reading groups, and taught classes for students ages 10-18.

During my senior year of college, I collaborated with two English Language Learner athletes from Germany to improve their academic writing. This included editing their papers for grammar and word choice through coordinated weekly meetings with multiple athletes. I built relationships with the two athletes as we exchanged aspects of our cultures while improving their English language skills.

I worked in my University's Writing Center during my junior and senior year of college. There I edited student and faculty papers, by working one-on-one to improve essay organization, diction, etc. I also helped with Chicago, MLA, and APA citation styles, both in-text citations and bibliographical references. After a session, I provided written feedback in post-conference reports. While at the Writing Center, I worked with many international students, and gave extra sessions to help with English comprehension.
