• Monthly closing and Management Reporting / MIS reporting on a weekly and monthly basis to Finance Mangers & to the VP Finance.
• Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations – Ensuring all Balance Sheet accounts are reconciled monthly & quarterly.
• External Audits – being focal person for external auditors always ensured that auditors get required data/information, audit is concluded as per schedule and timely Audit Report is obtained.
• Budgeting - Preparation and analysis of budgets
• Variance Analysis – Compile monthly actual financial results and compare with Budget and Forecast & reporting variances to Finance Managers, GM & Project Managers.
• Forecasting - Conducting monthly EAC (Estimate At Completion) meetings to ensure project costs and deadlines are being met. Attend other project periodic meetings and present project cost performance status as required
• PSR (Project Status Report) – Attending monthly PSR meeting with Corporate (COO & VP Projects)
• Weekly Flash Reporting- weekly analysis of Actuals VS Forecast for the month and review of cost phasing. Liaison with PMs for Review of Costs forecasts (Materials & Other project Costs, Engineering, Project Management & Production Labor). Taking explanation for deviations from previous forecasts.
• Projects Revenue & Cost Analysis - Monitor and control cost commitments and expenditures throughout project lifecycle.
• Liaise with project management, project planning and others as required to ensure accuracy in project cost phasing and forecasting
• Liaise with procurement, finance and production to ensure accurate and timely capture of procurement, materials, subcontract and labor costs.
• Day to day liaison with Project Managers and other stakeholders regarding the financial accuracy, control and improvement of each contract’s financial position.
• Backlog Reporting –backlog reporting of all projects/jobs.
• VAT calculation and filing returns
• Billings & Cash flows forecasting
• WIP, SIEB, BIES & Overheads

• Cash Flows – Managing Cash Flows of MEA region. Preparing 8 weeks rolling cash flow forecast on weekly basis to ensure adequate liquidity.
• Intercompany Transactions & Reconciliations– I/C invoices postings and month end reconciliations with 30 plus associated companies.
• AR Ageing – Reporting weekly AR Ageing & attending biweekly AR meeting.
• LCs and Bank Guarantees – Sole owner of LCs, Warranties & Guarantees. Application and extension of LCs Bank Guarantees and Bonds.
• Bank Reconciliation – Weekly and monthly Bank Reconciliations. Posting Receipts and some payments in AX.
• Employees Expenses processing - ensuring expense claim policy is adhered to and employees are paid on time.

• Provide weekly performance reporting to the project managers highlighting trends & opportunities to assist in improving profits, margins & reducing costs.
• Monthly closing and Management Reporting (MMR) / MIS reporting on a weekly and monthly basis to Finance Mangers & ultimately to the MEA Management.
• Issuing detailed P&L to the Rig Superintendents, highlighting poor performance & opportunities.
• Liaising with central accounting team on key areas of financial control e.g. collation of accruals & Intercompany Recs
•Working with local teams of Schlumberger to produce robust budgets & forecasts for all sales & cost of sales areas.
• Identifying risks & opportunity areas to the forecasts for both existing businesses & new projects.
• Presenting monthly forecasting figures to the Project Managers, Finance Manager and Country head for final approval.
• Cash flow - Preparation of 13 weeks rolling cash flow forecast on weekly basis to ensure adequate liquidity.
• Lead preparation of all forecast review and meetings.
• Highlight key issues in business activities for management review.
• Compile monthly actual financial results and compare with Budget and Forecast & reporting variances
• Review costs and perform cost benefit analysis related to new projects and/or programs.
• Feasibility Studies/Business plans that include industry relevant research, financial projections, and recommendations.
• Revenue & Receivables Reporting & Receivables recovery / Credit Control of (+60M USD)
• Payments Validation / AP Supervision - Review and uploading of payments to the bank portal for signatories’ approval.
• Taxation – Accounting of Corporation tax and filing of monthly tax returns (GST, WHT etc).
• Balance Sheet Notes Preparation (monthly, quarterly).
• Being a main point of contact in executing the internal and external audit to obtain company audited financial statements
