•Oversee the outcomes of health services and programs to address data gaps relevant to advancing injury recovery and clinical & vocational outcomes for workplace injuries involving musculoskeletal, concussion and mental health cases.
•Provide consultation services to stakeholder communities and organizations on research feasibility, design, RFP (request for proposal) submissions, and availability of data and interpretation of data analysis.
•Facilitate the uptake of knowledge by clinicians and health leadership through the presentation of findings, education sessions (e.g., clinical rounds), and one-on-one interaction.
•Build queries and/or write programs to extract and compile data using statistical tools (e.g., SAS) to merge and analyze data from various sources in order to conduct operational and clinical outcomes analysis.

•Designed study with a Research Director of a non-profit organization to address a research gap focused on clinical nutrition and bone health, resulting in a study protocol publication in a medical journal.
•Spearheaded and established research collaboration with two biostatisticians to conduct systematic review and network meta-analysis. Study results will be disseminated through manuscript publication.

• Designed 4 real world evidence studies and directed 6 research professionals on collaborative projects, resulting in 4 publications in leading refereed medical journals.
• Strong statistical analysis skills and extensive experience in writing statistical programming languages (e.g., SAS) and performing data quality assurance activities, resulting in creation of 3 large standardized datasets (+20,000 participants) for data repository.
• Strong communication skills and experience in presenting clinical studies to audiences of various backgrounds, leading to the dissemination of work at various scientific meetings and medical journals.

• Assisted with teaching 5 undergraduate courses ranging in size from 25-400 students, facilitating student learning in various courses (i.e., Statistics, Nutrition).

•Compiled and translated the latest scientific evidence into media packages specifically tailored to media journalists, which increased community awareness of the challenges posed by the obesity pandemic.
•Designed and wrote a backgrounder entitled “Obesity Trends in Canada”, which was rated as one of the top 5 most read articles in 2014.
•Collaborated with a team of 8 research and health professionals, ensuring timely evidence and accessibility of information serving a wide range of audiences.

• Coordinated research project from initiation to developmental stages to close-out; developed a novel research methodology and led a clinical trial, leading to the support of a food fortification protocol in Canada.
• Liaised with regulating bodies and research collaborators to maintain effective and ongoing protocol management in accordance with the federal, academic institutions, and sponsoring agency policies.
• Published work in a refereed journal and presented results at national and international conferences.
